Ollie Waugh-Swain
Strength & Conditioning Coach
Cultiv8 Tennis
Ollie joins the team at Cultiv8 Tennis to deliver on our integrated Strength & Conditioning Programme. He brings extensive experience from his previous roles working in strength and conditioning and physical activity.
Ollie has a BSc Hons Degree in Sports Coaching and Exercise Instruction from the University of Salford and is currently working towards his UKSCA accreditation. Ollie has experience of athletic development and fitness training in a number of sports, but in more recent years Ollie has specialised in planning and delivering S & C sessions for Mini, Junior, and Performance tennis players. In his previous role at Bolton Arena, as the Head of the Mini Tennis Strength & Conditioning Programme, Ollie was responsible for developing group and individualised programmes for both development and performance players. He has supported players both on and off court and strongly believes in working closely with coaches to maximise physical training and its transfer to the court. Ollie’s experience of observing domestic and international events has enabled him to witness the physical demands placed upon top junior tennis players. This experience has informed his approach to programming and delivery.
Ollie’s ‘person-centred’ philosophy underpins the support and commitment he gives to all the players under his care. He is dedicated to creating an environment where physical development and the other performance factors integrate in a fun and engaging way.
We are really pleased to have Ollie on board and look forward to him becoming an integral member of the CV8 Coaching Team!
